1 roll of puff pastry sheet

Red Onion – 1

Ginger Chopped – 1 tbsp

garlic chopped – 1 tbsp

Green Chillies – 2

Curry Leaves – Few

Chilli Powder – 1 Tsp

Coriander Powder – 1 Tsp

Turmeric Powder – 1/2 Tsp

Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp

Pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp

Salt – As Needed

Boiled Eggs – 6

Beaten Egg – 1

Oil – As Needed

All-Purpose Flour – A Little


Add about 1 tablespoon oil to the heated pan, Curry leaves add once oil is hot. Add garlic and ginger, then saute. When the color starts to change, add onions and chilies. This is slowly changing color and turning brown. Let’s saute for some more time. Onion turned really brown now, let’s add the spice powders now. After the powders are added, pour a small amount of water to prevent spices getting burnt. Masala for egg puffs is now ready.

Let’s take it off from the flame. Let’s open the puff pastry sheet now. It comes in the form of a roll. Put some all purpose flour on the table. To prevent the sheet from sticking to table. Remove the paper and keep on the table. And add some more flour on top. Let’s flatten the sheet a bit more. One sheet should be enough for 6 puffs. Divide into 6 using a knife or cutter. Split the boiled eggs and keep each half on the sheet.

Let’s use the beaten egg and apply on the four corners of each part. This helps in binding together the edges. Now, let’s add the masala on top. Keep a spoon of masala on top of the egg. Now fold the four corners together. Apply some cooking spray on an aluminum sheet pan. Arrange the puffs on a sheet. Similarly, prepare one more set of eggs and keep on the pan. Let’s apply egg wash now. Dip into the egg wash and apply like this. On all sides. This helps in getting a good color after baking.

20 Minutes Wait

The baking temperature is 380 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes. Once it turns colorful, it should be ready. Puffs look ready and colorful. Let’s move it to a plate.
